Something that you may already carry, but has a multitude of uses. Dental Floss! Yep, floss. I've used it for thread, fishing line, tent repairs, improvised early warning systems around camp and most importantly, cleaning my teeth. I try to keep one or two in my Bob and usually carry one in my pocket. Best $1 you can spend!

All these new guns!
It's been awhile since I posted anything but gonna make a New Year's resolution to try to make a least a post a day. We'll see how that goes. I'm like most other gun nuts in that I always drool both before and after in anticipation on what's coming out at Shot Show in 2012. The Israeli Tavor is something I've longed for since reading a review about one some years back. Charles Daly had spoke about bringing them in or having them manufactured here back in 2009 or 10. Now it looks like IWI (Israeli Weapons Industries) is putting a manufacturing plant in the US much like Glock did in the early 80's. damn, I'd love to see them manufacture a US made Uzi or Galil. But it does look like a US manufactured Tavor will arrive sometime around Sep/Oct 2012. Let's cross our fingers!!
